SIMON COLLINS

Creative Director

Simon Collins began his career at JWT London as a copywriter working on global brands like Kelloggs, Nestle, and Unilver. In the late 1980’s he was brought to Australia by Saatchi & Saatchi Sydney, where he developed the iconic ‘Which bank?’ campaign for CBA. He was subsequently creative director of creative powerhouse The Campaign Palace and in 1997 opened his own agency, Collins Thomas Cullen, which launched AAPT as a consumer brand and was an agency of record for the Bob Carr NSW Labor Government.

Between 2006 and 2009 he worked for Y&R New York as creative director of new business, and in 2009 moved to Havas in London to work on the first David Cameron election campaign. He set up his own consultancy with international clients including Australian Wool (AWI) before returning to Australia in 2016.

Since then Simon has been the creative brains behind campaigns generating public support for the 2017 Australian Olympic team, Recognise, and the ‘Vote Yes’ Equality campaign for the 2017 national survey on marriage equality. As well as being a strategist, a hands-on copywriter and an award-winning creative director, Simon also directs all his own film projects.

 

Guy winston

Partner - Creative

Guy is a multi-award-winning Regional Creative Director and Executive Creative Director with almost 40 years’ experience at multinational agencies in London, New York, Sydney, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Bangkok, Karachi, Yangon and Ho Chi Min.

His most recent roles across Asia have included time at JWT as Regional Creative Director, Ford Greater China, Asia Pacific and Africa,creating regional and local campaigns in 14 markets for the entire vehicle range.

Saatchi & Saatchi Hong Kong as Regional Creative Director P&G Brands, Greater China with a portfolio of brands including Head & Shoulders, Pampers, Crest, Ariel, Safeguard and Olay.

Ogilvy Myanmar leading Creative and Social/Digital departments,producing fully integrated campaigns for Coca-Cola, Huawei, Samsung,Nestle, Shell, Mercedes and Siam Cement Group.

In all these markets, Guy created campaigns that engaged and resonated with consumers, as they were built from relevant, local insights and executed in the local language.

Throughout his career, Guy’s work has been recognised and awarded at all the major international award festivals including Cannes, D&AD, Effies, New York Art Directors and Clios.

Rob Langtry

Partner - Strategy

As global Chief Strategy and Marketing Officer for Australian Wool Innovation (AWI/Woolmark) from 2010 – 2016, and a strategic consultant since 2007, Langtry is the architect and engineer behind the transformation of Australia’s wool industry – the only export industry to double its value in the last decade – and many other successful entries into APAC markets.

Prior to this Rob was CEO, Managing Director or Partner in Global agencies Hill & Knowlton, J.Walter Thompson, McCann-Erickson, Publicis and Havas here and in various overseas markets; and one of Australia’s 3 founding Account Planners, following his initial grounding in market research. He has worked on Successive campaigns for many of the worlds iconic FMCG, Heathcare, Pharma, Tech, Tourism and Luxury brands.

Rob was recognised as Internationalist of the Year (2011, 2012); Australia’s Top 50 CMOS (2015,16); judge of the Asian Dragons awards (2014 to 2019). In addition he holds: BEc, Grad Dip Marketing, GAICD, MBA and is a Certified Practising Marketer, FAIM and FIML.

 

Robert Leigo

Partner - Technology

Robert is a respected CEO of multiple technology companies spanning enterprise software, digital marketing, and customer experience platforms. With a background in fintech, compliance, and marketing infrastructure, he works closely with brands and agencies to architect systems that scale and perform.

He has advised federal and state governments, and delivered major digital initiatives for ASX 200 companies across banking, aviation, telecom, and pharmaceuticals. Earlier in his career, he launched the first Australian brand on Apple’s global iAds platform—setting a benchmark in mobile advertising.

Robert is known for combining strategic insight with deep technical execution. He was named one of Men’s Style Magazine’s “Men of Influence” in 2014.
